“The need to be in nature and connect with with one another is innate.” With this in mind, Keith and Wendy Brauneis started River Summit Group as a way to combine their passions for “rivers” and “summits” and all things wild; and to help others share their love for the outdoors.

They are originally East Coasters who made their way West in search of adventure that only the Rockies can offer. The road that lead to their current lifestyle was cobbled, not paved…each with a diverse portfolio to include positions such as: Creative Director, VP of Sales, Filmmaker, Marketing Director and Commercial Photographer. They regard these rich learning experiences as the catalysts that propelled them to where they are today.

Their passion for the outdoors spans a lifetime. Wendy is a world-class mountaineer, having summited the highest peak on 4 of the 7 continents, the most recent being Mt. Everest. She also has a passion for yoga, fly fishing, cycling and optimal nutrition. Keith has spent over 30 years traveling the world fly fishing, hiking, cycling and exploring; and often making films about those adventures.
